Video Conferencing Services
Video conferencing gives you the choice to NOT be where the meeting is with the EDC’s free video-conferencing services. Interview job candidates, make presentations to clients, and meet new business prospects in distant locales without ever leaving Lea County.
Video conferencing is tremendously efficient as an employee-recruitment tool. Rather than flying recruiters and candidates around the country for interviews, businesses can interview more people, from more locations, in less time.
Your business will realize tangible savings on the costs of travel, lodging and entertainment.
Other benefits of video conferencing include:
Conduct several meetings in one day instead of traveling to attend just one
Express your ideas clearly with slides and other visual aids
Present graphs or other documents right on your laptop
Access Internet information during your video conference
For more information, or to reserve the use of the EDC’s video-conferencing equipment and facilities, please contact us.

The Rural Enterprise Accelerator Partnership of the Southwest (REAPSW) is a regional program that delivers assistance to entrepreneurs over a video conference network. The Texas communities of Lamesa, Levelland, and Littlefield are joined by Hobbs, N.M., forming a unique regional and multi-state cooperation for entrepreneurial support. The goal of REAPSW is to provide its member communities with hands-on training and the encouragement of good business practices through a partnership that will ultimately lead to business retention, business expansion and new job creation.
The EDC of Lea County provides new and existing local entrepreneurs with the space and equipment for video conferencing, which allows them to obtain one-on-one counseling, business mentoring, skills training, and seminars furnished by the Northwest Texas Small Business Development Region Network.
