Public Education

 

Education is the backbone of a healthy workforce!

Home of the Jal Panthers, Jal Public Schools comprise of Jal Elementary, Jal Junior High, and Jal High School. With a 15:1 student-teacher ratio, JPS is able to provide personalized education for students.

The Jal Junior and High Schools are combined on one campus and offer programs including technology and dual-credit courses with college credit. In 2017, a new elementary school opened and more new projects are planned including a new middle school/high school, a swimming pool, and a new administration building. JSP also plans to start a rocket building program to bring in STEM, (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) education.
